Initial thoughts on homeless problem

I think that not all homeless people are drug abusers or crazy people, many of them are normal people like you and me but found themselves in an unlucky situation where they couldn't find affordable housing. Another point I would like to bring up is how harsh the living conditions are on the street and that alone could be factor in some of the homeless peoples mental struggles. What do you guys think?
